The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is holding its ninth Special Conference on Advances in Breast Cancer Research. This program is typically held every two (2) years and addresses basic and translational breast cancer research not typically covered in other breast cancer conferences with a more clinical agenda. This year’s program features sessions on DNA damage, driver mutations, early clinical opportunities, immunotherapy and breast cancer response, metabolism, personalized risk, regulation of breast cancer diversity, and resistance to targeted therapy. These topics span basic, clinical, epidemiologic, prevention, and translational research areas that have implications for treatment now and in the future. This conference is a must-attend event that typically attracts 300-400 basic, clinical, and translational breast cancer investigators from around the world. Attending this program will not only provide you with the latest advances in the fields above, but will also help you build your professional network around the world.
