Individuals may apply for as many awards for which they qualify, but may receive a maximum of one award for this conference. The number of awards provided and the dollar amounts of each award will be based on available funding. Awards are meant to offset a portion of the registration, travel, and subsistence expenses incurred by attending this conference. Applicants will be notified of their award status approximately four weeks after the application deadline. Applicants who are not selected for an award and, therefore, cannot attend the conference may receive a full refund of the conference registration fee upon request.

To apply for a Scholar-in-Training Award, applicants must first submit their abstract to the conference. To complete a Scholar-in-Training Award Application, applicants must log onto
myAACR. Once logged on, click "Applications/Awards" to be directed to the NEW AACR Online Submission System. Click "View All Activities" to find the 2018 Cancer Dormancy and Residual Disease Scholar-in-Training Award Application where you can create your submission. Click the "Create Submissions" button to begin.
Applicants will be asked to provide the title of their submitted abstract, CV (including a list of publications), and a short personal statement describing their research area and interests, current work setting, reasons for attending this conference, and career aspirations.
