Pediatric Cancer Working Group at the Annual Meeting

Pediatric Cancer Working Group Town Hall Meeting and Networking Reception

All Annual Meeting attendees are invited to participate in this special evening session hosted by the AACR PCWG. This session will include an interactive discussion on the current state of pediatric cancer data sharing. Specifically, this session will be designed to address existing limitations to pediatric cancer data sharing and explore opportunities to improve ongoing efforts to translate pediatric genomic data into improved targeted therapy approaches for various pediatric patient populations. A networking reception will take place following the program.

This session will provide an overview of the NCI Pediatric Preclinical Testing Consortium (PPTC) and the ITCC Pediatric Preclinical Proof-of-Concept Program (P4). Additionally, leading members from both groups will present information on models within their platforms, the various agents being tested, and how these data can lead to potential opportunities for the development of new pediatric cancer therapies.

The AACR Advocacy Partners Pavilion was introduced as a designated area where not-for-profit cancer patient advocacy organizations can educate annual meeting attendees and network among groups, patients, and health care professionals.

The 2018 AACR Advocacy Partners Pavilion will be located on the exhibit floor at McCormick Place Convention Center.
