Cigall Kadoch, PhD

WICR Scholar Awardee 2010
Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatric Oncology
Harvard Medical School/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Boston, Massachussets

She was an undergraduate when she received the AACR Thomas J. Bardos Science Education Award for Undergraduate Students, then a graduate student when she won the WICR Scholar Award in 2010, and today she's a newly-independent scientist studying synovial sarcoma, a rare cancer.

She has said, "I was most honored to have been named a WICR scholar. This award not only facilitated my attendance at the meeting, but also highlighted our work and served as an important launching point for several new scientific connections."
