The Cancer Immunology Working Group (CIMM) seeks to provide a forum for immunologists and other scientists and clinicians interested in cancer immunology and immunotherapy to meet, exchange knowledge and ideas, and discuss the present status and future promise of this important discipline.
The pivotal role of immunology in cancer research, particularly in regard to advances in the understanding of tumor immunobiology, inflammation and cancer, cell transfer immunotherapy, and vaccine development, highlights the need to further incorporate the best immunology-related science into AACR programs and to enhance AACR's role in the advancement of the field. The Cancer Immunology Working Group will help the AACR promote, integrate, and widely disseminate the new developments in cancer immunology and immunotherapy to the scientific community.
Membership in CIMM is open to all researchers and clinicians interested in working together to increase our understanding of basic cancer immunology and facilitate the translation of these fundamental concepts to the clinic.
AACR members may indicate their wish to join CIMM via the AACR annual dues invoice, which is sent to members in the winter each year. Note: CIMM does not charge auxiliary dues.
You may also join CIMM at other times during the year by completing the CIMM Membership form.
