The AACR supports World Cancer Day and the efforts of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to bring the cancer crisis to the attention of the public, government leaders and health policy makers. The AACR encourages people to sign the UICC's "World Cancer Declaration," a road map on immediate steps to reduce the global cancer burden by 2020.
