The Women in Cancer Research Council (WICR) of the AACR seeks applications for three leadership positions on the WICR Council; each new Member will be elected to the Council for a three-year term (2011-2014). Serving on the WICR Council affords you an opportunity to plan AACR programs and services that contribute to fostering career development and recognizing the achievements of women in cancer research. Examples of WICR programs include the WICR Leadership Development Workshops; WICR Career Mentoring Session (formerly the Leila Diamond Networking Breakfast); AACR-WICR Scholar Awards; and the Annual AACR-WICR Charlotte Friend Memorial Lectureship.
