What is Women in Cancer Research?

AACR-Women in Cancer Research (WICR) is a group within the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). WICR is open to membership by all AACR members, male and female.

Women shall contribute fully to cancer research so as to advance progress in the field around the world.

Mission

WICR is dedicated to achieving full participation of women in cancer research by recognizing their scientific achievements and fostering their career development and advancement in cancer research through all stages of their careers.

How Can You Join Women in Cancer Research?

Any AACR member who supports the mission of Women in Cancer Research is eligible for membership and is encouraged to join. You may join Women in Cancer Research simply by completing a Women in Cancer Research membership form.
