Can I fax my application for membership?
Yes. Please fax applications for membership along with the required documents for your category of membership to AACR office at (215) 440-9412.
Can I submit my application via e-mail?
Yes. Please e-mail the Membership Application to the Membership Department directly at membership@aacr.org. Please be sure to include the required documents.
I want to submit my application and pay my first years dues with a credit card. Do you accept credit cards? What type of credit cards do you accept?
Yes, we accept Visa, American Express and MasterCard. Credit card information is conveniently located on the Application for Membership.
I am currently a member and would like to transfer to Active membership; will I be issued another member number?
No. Even though your member status has changed, your number will remain the same.
I want to join AACR but I don’t know any AACR members to nominate my application. What can I do?
We will be more than happy to provide a list of members in your area to contact for nominations. Send an e-mail to memdev@aacr.org and include your geographical location for best results.
I would like to apply for membership. Can I apply online?
Unfortunately online application submission is not available at this time. You may download the Official AACR Membership Application* and submit it to our office with the required documents.
I submitted a membership application a few days ago. How can I check on the status of my application?
Email the Membership Department at membership@aacr.org or call (215) 440-9300 to check on the status of your application. Please note that candidates should allow 2 weeks for review and approval of applications.
How can I find out which category best fits my qualifications?
AACR has a membership category for everyone. You may view the Categories of Membership pages to review the qualifications of each membership category.
I am an undergraduate student. Can I join AACR?
Yes! Student Membership is open to high school and undergraduate students who are interested in cancer and related biomedical science.
I used to be an AACR Member but am no longer on the membership rolls. Do I have to submit a new application for membership?
No. If you were an existing member and would like to reinstate your membership please review the AACR Membership Reinstatement Form*.
