Member Transfer Guidelines: Active to Emeritus

The American Association for Cancer Research is pleased to offer Active Members who have reached the age of 70 the option of continuing membership in the Association as an Emeritus member. Emeritus membership provides Emeritus status privileges to those members who have reached seventy years of age. This membership category is also offered in case of disability of an Active member or under circumstances deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors; in such instances the requirement of an age of 70 years for transfer to Emeritus status may be waived.

Active members who meet the above criteria and wish to apply for transfer to Emeritus membership must use the official AACR Request for Transfer to Emeritus Application Form. After review of your application and support materials, confirmation of transfer will be sent to members within one month of receipt of the application form.
