American Association for Cancer Research to Participate in ABC News' Upcoming Twitter Chat: "Beating Breast Cancer"

Leading breast cancer researcher Judy Garber, M.D., M.P.H., will be tweeting during the ABC News Twitter chat on Tuesday, Oct. 15, titled "Beating Breast Cancer." ABC News Twitter Chat: Beating Breast Cancer

Garber, who served as president of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) from 2011 to 2012, is director of the Center for Cancer Genetics and Prevention at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers in Boston, Mass.

She will join a panel of medical experts, patients, and others to discuss breast cancer as part of ABC’s national month-long focus on the disease.

The Twitter chat, moderated by ABC News Medical Editor Richard Besser, M.D., will take place Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. ET.
