PRESS REGISTRATION Registration for this meeting is free to qualified journalists and public information officers from universities, government agencies and nonprofit cancer research organizations. Prior to registering, please take a moment to look over our

Credentials are as follows:
1. Freelance writers must submit a letter of assignment on letterhead from a recognized news organization or publication and a business card.
2. Reporters and editors must submit a copy of a bylined medical article and a copy of a business card or, in the absence of a bylined medical article, a copy of the editorial masthead.
3. Public information officers must submit a copy of their business card.
We encourage journalists to pre-register for the meeting to ensure maximum convenience in covering the conference. Advance registrants will receive a press kit in the week prior to the start of the meeting and should report to the press room to pick up their badges and other press materials. On-site registrants should bring the appropriate credentials to the press room and return to main registration area with a form signed by an AACR communications staff member to get a badge.
HOUSING
The deadline for housing requests was Feb. 26, 2010.
AACR PRESS ROOM (Room 154)
There is a fully equipped and staffed newsroom at this meeting. Computers and work stations are available for registered members of the press.
PRESS CONFERENCES (Room 142)
A series of press conferences will be held at the meeting. Press materials will be sent to registered journalists and public information officers in advance of the meeting and will be available pre-embargo through www.newswise.com and www.eurekalert.com. Post-embargo releases will be posted on the AACR Public & Media section of the website.
