The Where America Stands series provides a comprehensive assessment of where the United States stands on a broad array of vital issues, and it examines our readiness to face future challenges. The cost of cancer in the U.S. alone is over $220 billion and it remains one of the greatest challenges of our time, so the AACR is very thankful to Katie Couric for focusing on the conquest of cancer during her program.

AACR is proud to be the Scientific Partner of Stand Up To Cancer and to laud its founders who are working so hard to foster advances in cancer research and save lives.
