NEW IN 2010! - PRE-REGISTRATION FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT SERIES SESSIONS

The Professional Advancement Series has long been an integral part of the AACR Annual Meeting experience, representing our dedication to the education and promotion of the next generation of cancer researchers. In 2010, many of these sessions are brand new, and all are focused on helping you navigate the specific challenges of your career. There is a Professional Advancement Session for investigators at every level—from high school students to senior faculty—and we invite you to participate in any session that speaks to your needs as an area of enhancement.

For AACR Members, all 2010 Professional Advancement Sessions are free (unless otherwise noted) with your Annual Meeting registration and are an added benefit to your membership. For those who are not yet AACR Members, there is an additional fee of $50-$75 to attend each session. If you are not yet an AACR member, we strongly encourage you to join and take advantage of the many benefits of membership, which include attending these sessions.

Confirmations
All mailed or faxed registrations will be confirmed within two weeks of receipt. Registrations processed online will be confirmed at the time of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact CompuSystems at (708) 486-0720 or AACR10@compusystems.com.

Badges
A unique registration number will be printed on the front of each badge. The badge will be encoded with the name and address of the registrant. Registrants may use their badge to access the Internet from computer kiosks located in the AACR Internet Cafés. In addition, the badges will be particularly helpful in the Exhibit Show. Participating exhibitors will have machines that can quickly record registrant addresses and facilitate receipt of any follow-up information requested. Registrants may use their badges at self-serve kiosks in the AACR registration area for registration receipts and certificates of attendance. Please remember to bring your badge to the Annual Meeting each day and keep it in a secure place. Replacement badges may be purchased at the Lost Badges/Name Changes booth in the AACR registration area of the Convention Center for $25.

Spouse/Guest Registration
This special reduced fee is for social activities and entry to the exhibits and poster area only. Spouse/guest registration does not admit individuals to the scientific sessions outside the Exhibit/Poster Hall. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the Exhibit/Poster Hall or at scientific sessions at any time. Arrangements for spouses/guests to attend a single scientific session may be made at the Lost Badges/Name Changes booth in the registration area. Please note that the spouse/guest registration fee is not available to scientists in the field.

Cancellation/Refund
Request for refunds must be made in writing to aacr10@compusystems.com. There will be a $75 processing fee applied to refunds requested by Friday, March 19. No refunds can be made after March 19.

Group Registration
Group registrations (15 or more persons) may be completed using the Group Registration Form below. Group registrations must also include housing forms for each registrant within the AACR group block. Group registrations will not be processed without an AACR Group Housing Form or notification of location of housing outside of the AACR block.

Travel agencies or any third parties must include registration forms that are completely filled out with each registrant’s membership status, mailing address, telephone, fax, and e-mail address. All changes in group registrations must be submitted in writing prior to April 5, 2010. If these changes alter the total amount due for the group, a reconciliation of the amount due must be made with CompuSystems no later than Friday, April 9. Registration materials for pre-registered groups will be available for pickup at pre-assigned times on Friday, April 16 at the Group Registration Desk in the Convention Center.

All group registrations (15 or more persons) may be sent by mail, fax, or e-mail to:
