SATURDAY, APRIL 14
5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
This track of educational sessions will present state-of-the-art oncologic information in disease-specific areas, and will have broad appeal to clinical, translational, and also laboratory scientists who wish to explore how their own work can be enhanced to have a more direct and rapid application to clinical care. Clinicians will hear about the latest advances in cancer therapeutics pertaining to 9 different disease sites, and basic scientists will consider how their experiments can be better designed to predict and maximize clinical relevance and efficacy. Each organ site session will include both a clinical and a basic science presentation and there will also be a panel discussion to address the most pressing questions in the treatment of these disease sites. The panel will consist of scientists as well as cancer survivors and patient advocates.
