ABSTRACT REVIEW AND NOTIFICATION

The Scientific Review Committee will evaluate the scientific quality of the abstracts on the basis of the following criteria: novelty of the research, significance of the findings, and clarity. If an abstract is poorly written such that the Committee cannot determine its novelty and importance, the abstract will not be accepted for presentation at the conference.

Only those abstracts that have been reviewed and selected by the Committee may be presented. Individuals listed as presenters will be notified by e-mail approximately 3 weeks after the abstract submission deadline. Notices (acceptance and rejection) and instructions will be sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of abstract submission. If an abstract is not selected for presentation, the presenter may request a full refund of the registration fee by contacting the AACR Meetings Department at meetings@aacr.org.

Poster boards will be 4 feet high by 8 feet wide (1.22m x 2.44m), AACR will provide poster numbers and pushpins.

PRESENTER REGISTRATION

Abstract presenters must register for this conference in order to present their abstract. If an abstract is not accepted for presentation at the conference, the presenter may request a full refund of the registration fee by contacting the AACR Meetings Department at meetings@aacr.org. If an abstract is accepted and the presenter does not register, the abstract may be withdrawn.


WITHDRAWING AN ABSTRACT

Once an abstract has been submitted, it may be withdrawn only by written request from the abstract presenter. The request must be received at least 45 days prior to the start of the conference. Withdrawal requests may be sent by fax to (215) 599-0111 or by e-mail to programs@aacr.org.
