ACCOMMODATIONS

The conference will be held at The Westin San Diego in San Diego, California. Approximately 3 miles from the San Diego International Airport, The Westin San Diego is located in the heart of beautiful downtown San Diego. The 25 floors of guest rooms feature panoramic views of the San Diego Bay, Coronado Island, and the hotel is within walking distance of Seaport Village, Little Italy, the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, and a variety of shopping options.


A reduced conference rate of $219 per night (plus tax), single or double occupancy, is available to conference attendees until Monday, December 22, on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations may be made online below or by phone at (888) 627-9033. If reserving by phone, be sure to identify yourself as part of the AACR Prostate Cancer conference rate. Reservations made after the deadline will be accepted based upon hotel room and rate availability at that time.

Guests may cancel 72 hours in advance to avoid the penalty, which is one night’s room rate (which is also the deposit). If not cancelled 72 hours prior, the deposit of one night room and tax will be forfeited.

TRAVEL TO SAN DIEGO

The closest major airport to the conference site is San Diego International Airport (SAN), located approximately 3 miles the hotel. The AACR has named Experient its official travel coordinator for this conference. Experient will provide custom itineraries with the lowest applicable airfares and best journey time.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CONFERENCE SITE

From San Diego International Airport, take the downtown exit to and stay on Harbor Drive, turn left on Broadway, then left on State Street, Make another left on B Street and another left on Columbia. Take Columbia all the way down crossing over the trolley tracks and follow around until you see the Westin Hotel on the left hand side. The Association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs.
