ACCOMMODATIONS

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Hyatt Regency New Orleans is conveniently located within walking distance of many of the city’s most popular historic sites, entertainment and sports venues, including the neighboring Mercedes Benz Superdome. Numerous streetcar lines, including the Loyola Avenue Streetcar which passes directly in front the hotel, can take you on a scenic tour of New Orleans’ most famed attractions including the famed French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and Garden District.

A reduced conference rate of $179 per night is available to conference attendees until Friday, April 25, 2014. Reservations may be made online below or by calling 504-561-1234 and requesting the AACR 2014 Pancreatic Cancer conference rate. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate on a space-available basis until the cut-off date. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate. Applied to the room charge will be state and local taxes, currently 13 percent plus $3 occupancy tax per room, per night. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. A deposit equal to one night’s stay will be charged to the credit card at the time the reservation is made. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge by 4:00 p.m. CST 72 hours prior to arrival. Note that check-in time is 3:00 p.m., and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

TRAVEL TO NEW ORLEANS

The closest major airport to the conference site is the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), located approximately 15 minutes from the hotel. GROUND TRANSPORTATION

A variety of ground transportation options are available upon arrival; including taxi service, shuttle service, private car service, and car rentals. Taxi service between the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and the Hyatt Regency New Orleans is approximately $33 one-way, plus gratuity. The association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs.
