This was the seventh AACR Special Conference on Advances in Breast Cancer Research; which traditionally has been one of the most well attended programs in the Special Conferences Series. The 2013 program attracted over 350 investigators and clinicians from two dozen countries and featured presentations from thought-leaders in the fields of genomics, epigenomics, models of breast cancer, stem cells and lineage tracing, tumor dormancy and metastasis, tumor microenvironment, immunity, and targeted therapies. In addition to the plenary presentations, nearly 200 researchers presented their latest work during the poster sessions.
