The conference will be held at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a New England nautical-themed resort, at Walt Disney World. Disney's Yacht Club is located next to a sister resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and across Crescent Lake from Disney's BoardWalk Resort. The resort is about five minutes walking distance from Epcot, and roughly 15 minutes walking to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is home to three delicious restaurants which are sure to satisfy your taste buds.
A reduced conference rate of $220 per night was available to conference attendees until Tuesday, January 28. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate by calling (407) 934-7000. Applied to the room charge will be state and local taxes, currently 12.5 percent. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. A deposit equal to one night’s stay will be charged to the credit card at the time the reservation is made. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge until three days in advance of arrival. Note that check-in time is 3:00 p.m., and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
TRAVEL TO LAKE BUENA VISTA
The closest major airport to the conference site is the Orlando International Airport (MCO), located approximately 27 minutes from the hotel. The AACR has named Gant Travel Management as its official travel coordinator for this conference. Gant will provide custom itineraries with the lowest applicable airfares and best journey time.
Taxi service is readily available between the airport and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Taxi service is approximately $20 one-way, plus gratuity.
