ACCOMMODATIONS

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, located on the scenic Charles River with full views of downtown Boston. This 4-Star luxury hotel features "Zephyr on the Charles," an eclectic, wood-grill restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Charles River. Internet access, both wired and wireless is available in all guest rooms, and T-Mobile Hot Spot Wireless Broadband is available in public areas. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to four locations in Cambridge: Harvard Square, Kendall Square, Boston University, and the Cambridge Side Galleria Mall.


A reduced conference rate of $209 per night, single or double occupancy, is available to conference attendees until October 10, 2008. Reservations must be made online below or by phone. If reserving by phone, please call (888) 421-1442 or (617) 492-1234 and specify the AACR conference rate. Reservations made after October 10 will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate.

TRAVEL TO CAMBRIDGE

The closest major airport to the conference site is the Logan International Airport (BOS), located approximately 15 minutes the hotel. The AACR has named Experient its official travel coordinator for this conference. Experient is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Researchers from over 50 different countries around the world regularly participate in AACR meetings and conferences. The Association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs. If you plan to attend this AACR conference, please contact the American Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Obtaining the proper documentation may take several weeks or months, depending on your location, so we encourage you to contact the consulate as soon as possible if you are considering attending this conference.
