The conference will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, Florida. The InterContinental Miami, soars majestically into the skyline on Chopin Plaza in Bayfront Park, at the confluence of Biscayne Bay and Miami River. A reduced conference rate of $189 per night single/double occupancy is available to conference attendees until May 17, 2010. Reservations may be made online below or by calling (800) 327-3005 and requesting the AACR 2010 MEG conference rate. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate on a space-available basis until midnight on the cut-off date. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge until four days in advance of arrival. Note that check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
TRAVEL TO MIAMI
The closest major airport to the conference site is the
Miami International Airport (MIA), approximately 7.5 miles from the hotel. The AACR has named Gant Travel as the official travel coordinator for this conference. GROUND TRANSPORATION
Taxi and shuttle service are available between the Miami International Airport (MIA) and the InterContinental Hotel. Taxi service is approximately $20 one-way plus $1.00 per piece of luggage, gratuity not included. Shuttle service is approximately $15 one-way, gratuity not included.
