ACCOMMODATIONS

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Boston in Boston, Massachusetts. Just one block from the Boston Common and within walking distance of countless attractions, shopping and theaters, this downtown Boston hotel is the perfect spot to begin your adventures. A reduced conference rate of $179 per night (plus tax), single or double occupancy, is available to conference attendees until Friday, January 9, on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations made after the deadline will be accepted based upon hotel room and rate availability at that time.

TRAVEL TO BOSTON

The closest major airport to the conference site is Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS), located approximately 4.5 miles the hotel. The AACR has named Experient its official travel coordinator for this conference. Experient will provide custom itineraries with the lowest applicable airfares and best journey time.

GROUND TRANSPORATION

There are several choices of transportation between the airport (BOS) and the Hyatt Regency Boston. Shuttle service may be arranged through Ace American Shuttle [(800) 517-2281] or Logan Express Shuttle [(617) 561-9000]. Taxi service is approximately $25 one-way, depending on time of day. The AACR has negotiated a car rental discount through Hertz. Reservations can be made online below or by calling (800) 654-2240. To receive the discount, please reference CV #02ST0012. The Downtown Crossing stop of Boston's “T” Subway System is located on the same block as the hotel. The cost is $2 to travel anywhere in the city.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CONFERENCE SITE

From Logan Airport follow directions for the Ted Williams Tunnel. Go through the tunnel and follow signs for exit 25, South Station. At top of ramp, take a right onto Congress Street. Take a right onto “D” Street, then the 2nd right onto Summer Street. Follow Summer Street, turning left onto Kingston Street. Turn right into Bedford Street and then next left onto Chauncy Street. The Association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs.
