ACCOMMODATIONS

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Miami in Miami, Florida. Approximately 8 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA), the striking white towers of Hyatt Regency Miami overlook Biscayne Bay and provide effortless access to everything from Brickell and Coral Gables to Coconut Grove and world-famous white sand beaches. The newly updated Hyatt Regency Miami offers an outstanding array of amenities - including dramatic bayside or skyline views from spacious guestrooms, and a lively bar and restaurant.


A reduced conference rate of $189, per night was available to conference attendees until Friday, November 7. TRAVEL TO MIAMI

The closest major airport to the conference site is Miami International Airport (MIA), located approximately 8 miles the hotel. The AACR has named Experient its official travel coordinator for this conference. Experient is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Central Time, Monday through Friday.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

There are several choices of transportation between the airport and the Hyatt Regency Miami. SuperShuttle will provide conference attendees with a $2 discount, just mention that you are with the American Association for Cancer Research. Cost for a one-way trip is $14. Advance reservations are suggested and can be made by calling (305) 871-2000. Cost for a one-way taxi from the airport to the hotel is approximately $20 – $25. DIRECTIONS TO THE CONFERENCE SITE

From Miami International Airport, take 836 East through the tolls (stay to right). Take the I-95 South Exit - Downtown. Once on I-95, stay in left hand lane and take Exit 2A/Biscayne Boulevard. Stay in right hand lane at the end of the ramp, the hotel will be on your immediate right side. For additional driving directions, please contact the hotel at (305) 358-1234.

Researchers from over 50 different countries around the world regularly participate in AACR meetings and conferences. The Association encourages and appreciates the contributions of international researchers at our programs. If you plan to attend this AACR conference, please contact the American Consulate in your country to review the current regulations for travel to the United States. Obtaining the proper documentation may take several weeks or months, depending on your location, so we encourage you to contact the consulate as soon as possible if you are considering attending this conference.
