AACR's Translational Cancer Medicine conference series was launched in 2007. Translational cancer medicine happens at the interface of the lab and the clinic - transitioning basic science breakthroughs to the practice of medicine and uses clinical outcome to feed back into basic research. In order to make any advances in translational cancer medicine there must be open lines of communication between researchers and clinicians. This series of international conferences is designed to present information on the current advances in translational cancer medicine and foster the open discourse essential for progress against cancer.
