Translational Cancer Medicine 2008:
Cancer Clinical Trials and Personalized Medicine

July 20-23, 2008
Hyatt Regency Monterey
Monterey, CA

Cancer Clinical Trials and Personalized Medicine was the second in the AACR Translational Cancer Medicine Series and the first to be held in the United States. Translational research is a key programmatic priority of the AACR, and this meeting showcased the latest scientific discoveries from the laboratory and their clinical applications.

The Translational Cancer Medicine conferences are unique events that bring together and foster discussion between clinicians and basic scientists from academia, industry, and government. The format of this conference was designed to promote the open discourse necessary for confronting the challenges of applying scientific discoveries in cancer to the practice of medicine.
