American Association for Cancer Research

Technologies to Treatment

TCM07

The 2007 Technologies to Treatment conference was the first AACR Centennial Conference and the first in our Translational Cancer Medicine series. This breakthrough event, co-sponsored by the Genome Institute of Singapore, attracted over 1,000 researchers and scientists from around the world to discuss new and developing technologies that will enable the translation of discoveries into the practice of cancer medicine.

In addition to the plenary sessions, panel discussions, late-breaking research session, and more than 200 proffered abstracts presented in poster sessions - two educational workshops were held before the conference began on November 2 and 3 that focused on Clinical Trial Design and Pathobiology of Cancer.

This important international conference provided an opportunity for scientists, clinicians, policy makers, analysts, and others to increase their understanding of the future advances in biotechnology and medicine. Additional conferences in the Translational Cancer Medicine Series are being planned for the United States and Europe and we look forward to your participation at these exciting programs.
