iPhone and iPad users can now access AACR journals anywhere through apps designed specifically for these devices. You can browse AACR journals, e-mail article links to yourself for later reference, and save articles to your Favorites list. The apps will include a caching feature that will enable you to read the full text of articles in your Favorites even when your device is offline.
- From your iPhone, open the App Store and search for "AACR Publications"
Full-Text Access
All iPhone and iPad users can access the abstracts of AACR journals through the app for free. However, access to the full text of articles requires a subscription.
Institutional Subscribers: If your iPhone/iPad is connected to an institutional network that has a subscription to AACR journals, you will be able to access the full text of the journals without a login. If you are not connected to a subscribing network, you will need an individual subscriber login to access the full text.
AACR Members: If you have a current subscription to one or more AACR journals, you can use your member subscription login to access the full text of those journals. To retrieve your member username and password, visit the
AACR Journals login lookup page and enter your Customer Number (AACR member number) or contact the AACR Publications Department at

Non-Members: If you have an individual non-member subscription to one or more AACR journals, you can use your member subscription login to access the full text of those journals. To retrieve your subscriber username and password, visit the
AACR Journals login lookup page and enter your Customer Number or contact the AACR Publications Department at

If you have an individual subscription login, you can save your username and password in the Settings for each journal so that you don’t have to enter your login to access full-text content:
- From the Issues page for each journal, press the Settings icon button.
- From the Settings page, press the My Subscription Login button.
- Enter your Username and Password and save the information.

Available Issues
The AACR Publications App provides access to the most recent four issues of each AACR journal. To access additional back issues of AACR journals, visit AACR Journals Mobile Edition on your iPhone or AACR Journals Online on your iPad.
Caching Articles for Offline Use
The AACR Publications app uses your wireless or 3G/4G connection to deliver journal content to your iPhone or iPad. However, you have the option to save or cache selected articles for reading offline:
- From the Abstract or Full Text view of each article, you can press the heart icon to add the abstract or article to your Favorites list.
- All of the articles saved to your Favorites list can be accessed when your device is offline or in Airplane Mode.
- Please Note: Pressing the Favorites button while in Abstract view will save the article abstract to your Favorites list for offline reading. To save the full text of an article for offline use, you must press the Favorites button while in Full Text view. In addition, you must press the Favorites button while viewing each article figure or table in order to save the figures and tables for offline use.
