Author Proofs of Accepted Articles

Author proofs arrive as a link to a PDF file and are sent to the corresponding author’s e-mail address, as designated during the submission process. The message will include login and password information to download the PDF proof.

Please note that the preferred method of returning corrections to your proof is by annotating the proofs on-screen, which allows you to mark your changes directly in the PDF file, answer any queries, and return the marked file as an e-mail attachment. In order to use this method, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader.* Your proof package will include a link to this software, as well as additional mark-up instructions. Please read your entire page proofs carefully, including figure legends and tables.

We ask that corrected proofs be returned within two business days of receipt. We prefer that you e-mail your marked PDF file. If this is not possible, you may fax a print-out of the PDF. The e-mail address and fax number will be included in your proof package.
