Ninth Annual Undergraduate Student Caucus and Poster Competition

networkingEach year at the AACR Annual Meeting, the Undergraduate Student Caucus and Poster Competition brings together undergraduate students at all levels and post baccalaureate students to explore educational and career pathways in cancer research, present their own research and compete for prizes.

Student participants will enjoy:

  • A panel discussion led by young scientific investigators ranging from graduate students to postdocs, who will address issues related to scientific research and career development;
  • A keynote address from a prominent cancer researcher, who will inspire students to consider a career in cancer research;
  • A competitive poster session that awards first ($1,500), second ($300) and third place ($200) prizes for outstanding student research; and
  • Access to all AACR Annual Meeting scientific sessions, posters, exhibits and much more.

Registration for this session is free. Please download, complete and submit one registration form per student participant.

Abstract Submission

Abstract submission is now open. To participate in the poster competition, you must submit your abstract online at

This is a special session, and to participate in the poster competition you must submit your abstract at myAACR by the deadline of February 28, 2014, even if you have already submitted your abstract for the general Annual Meeting. Please view the Guidelines for Poster Presenters.
