AACR-Prevent Cancer Foundation Award for Excellence in Cancer Prevention Research: for seminal contributions to the field of cancer prevention.
Award Presented at the Annual CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium:
Susan G. Komen for the Cure-AACR Outstanding Investigator Award for Breast Cancer Research: for novel and significant work that has had or may have a far-reaching impact on the etiology, detection, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of breast cancer.
Prizes, Awards & Lectureships Presented at the AACR Annual Meeting:
AACR Award for Lifetime Achievement in Cancer Research: to honor an individual who has made significant fundamental contributions to cancer research, either through a single scientific discovery or a body of work.
AACR Team Science Award: to acknowledge and catalyze the growing importance of interdisciplinary teams to the understanding of cancer and/or the translation of research discoveries into clinical cancer applications.
AACR Margaret Foti Award: to honor an individual for leadership and extraordinary achievement in cancer research.
Landon-AACR Prizes for Basic and Translational Cancer Research: for outstanding scientists who have made seminal cancer research discoveries at the cutting edge of scientific novelty and significance.
Pezcoller Foundation-AACR International Award for Cancer Research: for a scientist of international renown who has made a major scientific discovery in basic cancer research or who has made significant contributions to translational cancer research.
AACR Princess Takamatsu Memorial Lectureship: to recognize an individual scientist whose novel and significant work has had or may have a far-reaching impact on the detection, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of cancer, and who embodies the dedication of the Princess to multinational collaborations.
AACR-Irving Weinstein Foundation Distinguished Lectureship: to recognize and present outstanding science that has the potential to inspire new thinking and perspectives on the etiology, progression, and prevention of cancer.
AACR G.H.A. Clowes Memorial Award: for outstanding recent accomplishments in basic cancer research.
AACR-Rosenthal Family Foundation Award: to honor and provide incentive to investigators relatively early in their careers (not more than 50 years of age) who are engaged in the practice of medicine and who reside in the Americas, for research that has made, or promises to soon make, a notable contribution to improved clinical care in the field of cancer.
AACR-CICR Award for Outstanding Achievement in Chemistry in Cancer Research: for outstanding, novel, and significant chemistry research, which has led to important contributions to the fields of basic cancer research; translational cancer research; cancer diagnosis; the prevention of cancer; or the treatment of patients with cancer.
AACR Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cancer Research: to give recognition to a young investigator (not more than 40 years of age) on the basis of meritorious achievement in cancer research.
AACR-American Cancer Society Award for Research Excellence in Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention: for outstanding research accomplishments in cancer epidemiology, biomarkers, and prevention.
AACR Joseph H. Burchenal Memorial Award: for outstanding achievements in clinical cancer research.
AACR-Women in Cancer Research Charlotte Friend Memorial Lectureship: for an outstanding scientist who has made meritorious contributions to the field of cancer research and who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of women in science.
AACR-Minorities in Cancer Research Jane Cooke Wright Lectureship: for an outstanding scientist who has made meritorious contributions to the field of cancer research and who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of minority investigators in cancer research.
