Cancer Factsheets

Factsheets are currently available on the Public and Media section of the AACR website.

Two types of factsheets are available:

Organ-Site Factsheets

Organ-site factsheets include information about a variety of cancers, organized by the organ site where the cancer originates (for example, brain cancer, breast cancer and colorectal cancer).

Cancer Concepts

Cancer Concepts are introductions to topics in cancer research. These include factsheets about:

• cancer vaccines
• nanotechnology
• nuclear receptors
• selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs)
• single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)
• human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)
• antibody immunotherapy
• RNA interference (RNAi)
  
• transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta)
