The National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) was formed in 2008 through the merger of the National Brain Tumor Foundation and the Brain Tumor Society. NBTS provides patients and caregivers with brain tumor information and support. The society hosts special events around the country including an annual gathering that brings patients, families, health care professionals and scientists together.

The Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation (OKBTF) provides financial assistance, support groups and family and caregiver education for Oklahoma families, caregivers and patients affected by primary brain or central nervous system tumors. The organization also informs patients about clinical trials and oncologists located in the region. The OKBTF works to provide for patients' needs through education, advocacy, research and service.
