SPECIAL INTEREST EDUCATIONAL SESSION AT THE ALAMO BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION PATIENT ADVOCACY PROGRAM 

The AACR has teamed up with the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation for a second year to present a special interest session at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium for ALL advocates. Top researchers in the field will share their expertise on breast cancer research.

Dr. Joe Gray, professor and chair of the Biomedical Engineering department, will address the Biology of Breast Cancer: Then and NowDr. Danny R Welch, will present an Update on Metastasis Research.

     When: Dec. 7, 2011

     Time:  7:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.

     Where: Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Room 6 A-D

DISCOUNTED RATES FOR CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE

AACR Annual Meeting 2008The AACR is pleased to offer patient advocates discounted registration rates for select conferences.

Advocates who are members of the AACR will receive a much lower rate rate than non-members, dependent upon the time of registration. Advocates who are new to AACR must fill out the advocate verification form.

Once your advocacy status has been approved, you will be able to register at the discounted rate.
