ADVOCATE OPPORTUNITIES

Scientist↔Survivor Program at the AACR Annual Meeting
The deadline for the ScientistSurvivor Program at the AACR Annual Meeting, April 12-26, 2008, in San Diego, has passed. If you would like more information about future ScientistSurvivor programs, please contact James Marengo by e-mailing SSprogram@aacr.org or by calling 267-646-0552.

Nonprofit Advocacy Exhibits
The AACR is pleased to offer a special area in the exhibit hall of the AACR Annual Meeting for nonprofit survivor and patient advocate organizations. For a nominal fee, your organization will receive a display counter approximately six feet wide in the nonprofit area. Exhibiting at the AACR Annual Meeting will give you an opportunity to reach a diverse group of scientists and advocates from the cancer community and to participate in the critical cross-disciplinary exchange of new ideas and the fostering of new collaborations. If you have any questions or would like to exhibit, please contact James Marengo at 267-646-0552 or by e-mailing james.marengo@aacr.org.

Advocate Affiliate Membership
We invite all advocates to take the opportunity to join the AACR as advocate affiliate members. Membership in the AACR will allow you to become an integral part of the organization and further strengthen communication and collaboration among advocates, scientists and survivors. Please take advantage of this invitation. For detailed information, please click on the link above and download the advocate affiliate membership application.
