The AACR Special Conference Series has presented unique opportunities for thousands of investigators worldwide to interact with leading experts and discuss rapidly developing areas of cancer research. Nearly 150 Special Conferences have been held throughout the world since the first program in 1988.
Popular topics have included apoptosis, molecular imaging, oncogenomics, angiogenesis, and mouse models of cancer; while a regular series of Special Conferences focuses on the basic, clinical, and translational aspects of various cancers, including breast, prostate, lung, and colon cancer.
