AACR Career Development Awards

AACR Career Development Awards are open to junior faculty at an academic, medical, or research institution who completed postdoctoral studies or clinical fellowships no more than three years prior to the start of the grant term.

The Awards provide two-year grants of $50,000 per year for direct research expenses and salary support.

Application deadline:	December 18, 2008, noon, Eastern Time
Decision date:	March 1, 2009
AACR Grants Dinner:	April 21, 2009, Denver, CO
Start of Grant term:	July 1, 2009

Applications must be completed online using the proposalCENTRAL website, with one paper copy submitted to the AACR office. Application instructions and program guidelines are available below and on the proposalCENTRAL website.

AACR-Aflac, Incorporated Career Development Award for Pediatric Cancer Research: One grant will be presented in 2009.
AACR Centennial Career Development Award for Childhood Cancer Research: One grant will be presented in 2009.
