This AACR Special Conference on Advances and Challenges in Aerodigestive Epithelial Cancers, namely those originating from the head/neck, lung, and esophagus. Keynote talks from Drs. David Sidransky of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and Jill Siegfried, University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute opened the program on Tuesday evening, February 6. Sessions focusing on preneoplasia, mouse models, therapy, carcinogenesis, molecular biology, and molecular signatures provided state-of-the-art information and future directions on the latest discoveries in these areas.
