Affiliate Membership in the AACR
The AACR is pleased to invite survivor advocates to join the association as affiliate members and enjoy the benefits of membership in the association. Among the many benefits of affiliate membership in the American Association for Cancer Research is a complimentary subscription to CR magazine.
Affiliate membership is open to qualified individuals who are survivor advocates and who are members of organizations that promote the advancement of cancer research. Affiliate membership is also open to health professionals working in support of cancer research and educators or other professionals who are interested in the cancer research field.
Founded in 1907, the AACR is the world’s oldest and largest professional organization devoted to cancer research. Its members include more than 24,000 basic, translational and clinical researchers; healthcare professionals; and survivor advocates in the United States and in more than 60 other countries. As a leader in cancer research, the AACR marshals the full spectrum of expertise of its members and from the cancer community at large to accelerate advances in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
The AACR is committed to broadening its membership of advocates and survivors and is offering a special, discounted rate of $75 to advocates who wish to join the association as advocate affiliate members.
