Database of Exceptional Minority Scientists
The MICR Database of Exceptional Minority Scientists was created as an effort to increase the visibility and recognition of minority investigators. With input from the MICR Council's Awards Nominations Committee, nearly 100 minority investigators were identified for their exceptional contributions to cancer research as scientists, leaders, mentors, and as up-and-coming minority investigators and are included in the database.

E-Newsletters and E-nnouncements
MICR members are kept informed about issues and opportunities of relevance to them via these communications. The E-newsletter shares award, funding and career opportunities; updates about Annual Meeting events sponsored by MICR; announcements about new Council members, opportunities for committee service, and more.

Distributed monthly, the E-nnouncement shares current and pertinent information with MICR members about issues and opportunities of interest to them that are offered through AACR and other organizations.

MICR Member Spotlight!
The Spotlight increases visibility and recognition of MICR members whose contributions to the field of cancer research have been acknowledged via a promotion, special feature in a publication, presentation of an award, etc. Members can submit information about themselves or one another for posting on the MICR webpages and in the e-nnouncement.
