The AACR-AstraZeneca Stimulating Therapeutic Advances through Research Training (START) Grants

This grant program represents a novel opportunity to foster collaboration between academia and industry. Each fellowship provides a three-year grant of $225,000 to support the salary and benefits of the fellow while working on a mentored cancer research project. Selected fellows will spend one year of the term on site at an AstraZeneca facility.

At the start of the grant term on July 1, 2020, applicants must hold a mentored research position with the title of postdoctoral fellow, clinical research fellow, or the equivalent. Applicants must work at an academic, medical, or research institution in the US. There are no citizenship requirements.

AACR-Novocure Career Development Awards for Tumor Treating Fields Research

These career development awards aim to support early-career investigators who are conducting innovative research focused on Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields). Each award will provide a three-year grant of $225,000.

At the start of the grant term on July 1, 2020, applicants must hold a faculty position with the title of assistant professor, instructor, research assistant professor, or the equivalent. Applicants can work at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world. There are no citizenship or geographic requirements.

AACR-Novocure Tumor Treating Fields Research Grants

This grant program supports independent investigators who are conducting innovative research focused on Tumor Treating Fields. Each grant will provide $250,000 over two years.

Applications will be accepted from independent investigators who are affiliated with an institution that currently holds an active Materials Transfer Agreement with Novocure for use of its devices, or an institution that will enter into a Materials Transfer Agreement with Novocure.

The AACR-QuadW Foundation Fellowship for Clinical/Translational Sarcoma Research

This fellowship program encourages and supports fellow working in sarcoma research. The fellowship will provide a one-year grant of $50,000.

At the start of the grant term on July 1, 2020, applicants must hold a mentored research position with the title of postdoctoral fellow, clinical research fellow, or the equivalent. Applicants can work at an academic, medical, or research institution anywhere in the world. There are no citizenship or geographic requirements.
