AccommodationsThe conference will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Lousiana. The Sheraton New Orleans is located approximately 15 miles away from Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY). A reduced conference rate of $229 per night plus tax is available to conference attendees until
Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018. Reservations may be made
online or by calling anytime at (888) 627-7033 and requesting the 11th AACR Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate on a space-available basis until the cut-off date. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to the hotel’s prevailing rates and availability. Applied to the room charge will be state and local taxes, currently 15.75% plus a $3 nightly occupancy tax. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge 72 hours in advance of arrival. Note that check-in time is 4 p.m., and check-out time is 12 p.m.
Travel to New OrleansThe closest major airport to the conference site is the Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY), located approximately 25 minutes (15 miles) from the hotel.
