AccommodationsThe conference will be held at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol in Austin, Texas. The Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol is located approximately 6.8 miles away from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). A reduced conference rate of $219 per night is available to conference attendees until Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Reservations may be made online or by calling (512) 404-6941 and requesting the AACR-AHNS Head and Neck Cancer Conference: Optimizing Survival and Quality of Life through Basic, Clinical, and Translational Research conference rate. The hotel will accept reservations at the reduced conference rate on a space-available basis until the cut-off date. Reservations made after this date will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the nearest available rate. Applied to the room charge will be state and local taxes, currently 8.25%. Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of reservation. No deposit will be taken at the time the reservation is made. Cancellations will be accepted at no charge 72 hours in advance of arrival. Note that check-in time is 3 p.m., and check-out time is 12 p.m.

Ground Transportation A variety of ground transportation options are available upon arrival, including taxi service, private car service, Uber, car rentals, and shared shuttles. Taxi service between the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol is approximately $25 one way, plus gratuity.
