2019 AACR Runners for Research 5K Run/Walk

Members of the AACR Runners for Research team participate in races around the country to support the AACR and our more than 40,000 members who lead the effort to prevent and cure cancer. This year the AACR’s signature 5K event will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, as 20,000 cancer scientists, survivors, advocates, and others gather March 29-April 3 for the AACR Annual Meeting 2019.

Free Community Event: Progress and Promise Against Cancer

Program: 9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

Progress and Promise Against Cancer brings together some of the greatest minds in cancer research to educate the public about cancer. During this free community event, experts will converse about cancer research with a focus on cancer health disparities that can impact cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Local patient advocates will also share their inspirational stories.
