Interview Rooms

Interview rooms are available in 30-minute increments while the press office is open. The press office will be open Friday, April 24, from noon to 6 p.m. PT, Saturday, April 25, through Tuesday, April 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT, and Wednesday, April 29, from 7:30 a.m. to noon PT.

We do our very best to accommodate everyone, but space is limited. Please contact Kathleen Venango to make a request, and be prepared to specify whether the interview requires broadcast quality audio and size of your set up.

As with previous meetings, stationary video crews may film in the hallway near the press room. New this year, we will be providing badges for your equipment to indicate to convention center staff that the crew has been approved for filming. If you plan to use the hallway, we would appreciate being notified in advance so we can have space identified and a badge available upon your arrival. An AACR escort is still required for filming throughout the convention center, beyond the immediate press room vicinity and other approved hallway spaces.

Getting Around San Diego

Beginning Friday, April 24, through Wednesday, April 29, shuttle buses will be provided between the San Diego Convention Center and designated AACR Annual Meeting participating hotels. Shuttle bus schedules will be posted in each hotel, at the San Diego Convention Center, and at the AACR Information Desks located throughout the center.
