My thesis work is focused on the mechanisms by which lung tumors develop acquired resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors and how we can delay or overcome resistance using combination therapies. After graduation I plan to start a postdoctoral position in translational cancer immunology, with the ultimate goal of becoming an independent investigator in this field.

Poster 2130: A hypoxia-driven transcriptional program characterizes acquired resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors in lung cancer.
