“I aspire to work closely with scientists whose research efforts contribute to improving the lives of individuals in underserved communities. My research interests are in cancer health disparities among underserved populations. More specifically, I am interested in investigating the biological mechanisms responsible for driving health disparities in breast tumorigenicity among women of African Ancestry. I hope to devote my career to developing novel therapeutic strategies to help mitigate cancer health disparities.”
