As a graduate student researching natural compounds with anti-cancer properties, I endeavor to build a career in this field. Upon completion of my PhD, I aim to complete post-doctoral training in a setting that incorporates a multi-disciplinary approach to investigating diseases and identifying nature-derived anti-disease agents, with the ultimate goal of working in the biotechnology industry. As a Nigerian-American, I hope to bring my research experience to Nigeria to improve science education.
