Jocelyn Lee, PhD

Dr. Jocelyn Lee is the director of the AACR Project GENIE® Coordinating Center. Dr. Lee’s focus includes the daily operations of the GENIE® consortium, leading the public release of the AACR Project GENIE® registry data, and the management of sponsored projects.

Dr. Lee previously worked as a prevention research scientist in the Office of Disease Prevention at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) where her work focused on the development of a taxonomy for prevention research and portfolio analysis tools, as well as on improving the reproducibility of prevention research at the NIH and for its grantees. In addition, Dr. Lee was a NIH National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Prevention Fellow working in the Division of Cancer Prevention and the Cancer Biomarkers Research Group, focusing on the development and validation of biomarkers for early detection and screening of cancers. Dr. Lee earned a BA in biology from the University of Virginia, a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a PhD in biochemistry from Emory University.
