Abstract 7012: S-Nitrosylation of p53 in melanoma alters p53-DNA binding and downstream gene expression

What are your long-term career objectives?

It is an honor to be chosen by the committee to receive this award. I hope to complete a residency in pharmacogenomics and fellowship concentrating on clinical pharmacology. I am interested in drug development, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic population modeling, therapeutic optimization, and evaluation of toxicology for small molecule and biologic therapeutic agents. Ultimately, I would like to have a career in preclinical or clinical trials centering on cancers primarily affecting minority populations.
